Commercial Pass Agreement

This is the explanation page for the “Commercial Pass” at Teine Ski Resort.

Introduction

Sapporo Teine Ski Resort will require prior approval from companies, organizations, and individuals conducting commercial activities, such as lessons, within the resort. This system aims to maintain a high level of customer safety, service, and professionalism, and to improve the overall quality of our guests' experience. It also aims to foster a collaborative environment between Sapporo Teine Ski Resort and its registered members, fostering mutual growth and success. Participation in the Sapporo Teine Commercial Lift Pass Program and commercial activities are permitted on the condition that you comply with all Sapporo Teine Ski Resort rules and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract. Commercial activities without approval are strictly prohibited.

Commercial Activities

Commercial activities include services provided at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort for a fee, regardless of whether monetary compensation is provided, such as snow sports lessons, guiding, photography guides, and event hosting. All companies, organizations, and individuals engaging in commercial activities must apply for "commercial registration" in advance and obtain permission from Sapporo Teine Ski Resort. Once commercial registration is complete, they can purchase an "Official Partner Armband" and "Commercial Lift Ticket." Instructors and guides engaging in commercial activities at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort must wear the designated "Official Partner Armband" when using the facilities. Instructors and guides must also use a "Commercial Lift Ticket" when using the lifts and gondolas at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort.
Please note that general lift tickets (KWP, 1-day pass, 5-hour ticket, etc.) cannot be used.
However, the following cases are not considered commercial activities and do not require commercial registration:

  • When SAJ-certified schools or international snow sports organizations obtain prior permission from our company to conduct seminars, training sessions, examinations, etc.
  • With prior permission, to provide training and instruction as a volunteer for local schools, youth groups, or other activities primarily aimed at youth development.
  • When permission is given in advance at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort's sole discretion.

Requirements for Commercial Partners

To register as a business and carry out commercial activities, the following requirements must be met.
If Sapporo Teine Ski Resort determines that these requirements are not met, commercial registration will be denied.
Additionally, any lift tickets already purchased will be immediately suspended and no refunds will be given.

Commercial Partner Registration Costs

Commercial registration is required before you can begin commercial activities at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort. Registration is completed once your commercial activity application has been approved and payment of the commercial registration fee has been received. Official partner armbands can be issued only after the registration process has been completed.  

Regulatory/ Commercial Requirements

  • Follow the instructions of Sapporo Teine Ski Resort staff.
  • Follow the rules set by Sapporo Teine Ski Resort and comply with Japanese laws and regulations at all times.
  • Under no circumstances will visitors to Sapporo Teine Ski Resort be engaged in any commercial activities, such as solicitation.
  • Be covered by third-party liability insurance (the amount of compensation for a single accident must be 200 million yen or more).
  • You agree that commercial registration fees, related fees, and purchased commercial lift tickets will not be exchanged or refunded under any circumstances.
  • All instructors and guides must hold one of the following valid licenses:
    (a) International Instructor License ISIA certified level 1 or higher >>Click here for details
    (b) SAJ or JSBA 1st grade or higher
    (c) SIA Stage 1 or higher
  • All staff members have legal work authorization in Japan.
  • All instructors and guides must wear uniform at all times.
  • All instructors and guides must wear and clearly display an official Sapporo Teine Ski Resort armband at all times.
  • All persons conducting commercial activities at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort must purchase a designated commercial lift ticket.

2025-2026 Commercial Partner Registration Costs

Commercial registration is required before you can begin commercial activities at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort. Registration is completed once your commercial activity application has been approved and payment of the commercial registration fee has been received. Official partner armbands can be issued only after the registration process has been completed.

*Even if the pass is still valid, you will not be able to use lifts, gondolas, ski centers, or other ski resort facilities on closed days.

Please download the application form, fill in the necessary information, and submit it by email. We will review your application within 10 business days and notify you of the results by email.

Commercial lift ticket & official partner armband

Instructors and guides who conduct commercial activities at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort are required to have a commercial lift ticket. Once your commercial registration is complete, you will be able to purchase a "Commercial Lift Ticket" and an "Official Partner Armband." Please purchase as follows:  

■ Official Partner Armband
Starting Saturday, 15 November, 2025 , 
Tickets will be sold and handed over at the Sapporo Teine Ski Resort ticket office (Highland Ski Center 3F ticket counter). Please purchase upon visiting the resort. → Payment methods: Cash or various credit cards  

■ Commercial Lift Tickets
After receiving your official partner armband, you can purchase commercial lift tickets at the Sapporo Teine Ski Resort ticket office (Highland Ski Center 3F ticket counter). Please purchase upon arrival. → Payment methods: Cash or various credit cards 

2025-26 Commercial Pass Lift Ticket Options

Commercial registration is required before you can begin commercial activities at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort. Registration is completed once your commercial activity application has been approved and payment of the commercial registration fee has been received. Prohibited Activities

If it is determined that any of the prohibited acts set out below have been committed, your business registration may be revoked, your lift ticket may be suspended, and you may be prohibited from entering Sapporo Teine Ski Resort in the future.

  • Sales activities such as soliciting, attracting, and sales promotions to visitors to Sapporo Teine Ski Resort (including oral proposals, posting notices, distributing flyers, etc.)
  • Sales activities to travel agencies etc. regarding lessons and guides at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort.
  • Parking in the parking lot reserved for K Winter Pass members.
  • Meet with customers in the ski school meeting area or the area used by staff at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort.
  • Entering restricted areas at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort.
  • Entering roped off areas.
  • Any act that violates the rules set forth in these regulations, or any act that damages the interests of our company or official  partners or disrupts business operations.
  • Any act that is dangerous or has a negative impact on users of Sapporo Teine Ski Resort.
  • Unauthorized use of priority lift lines designated for other groups or events.

Enforcement checking external guides/Instructors

Sapporo Teine Ski Resort may check lift tickets and official partner armbands held by all companies, organizations, and individuals to ensure that they comply with the regulations of the Sapporo Teine Commercial Lift Ticket System. We check those engaged in commercial activities that deviate from the Sapporo Teine Commercial Lift Ticket System, or those suspected of doing so, to ensure that the rules are being followed. If we find anyone suspected of engaging in commercial activities without permission, we will require them to take the following action.

  • Promptly present your Sapporo Teine ski resort commercial lift ticket and official partner armband.
  • Sales activities to travel agencies etc. regarding lessons and guides at Sapporo Teine Ski Resort.
  • Clearly prove that you are not violating the terms and conditions of the Sapporo Teine Commercial Lift Ticket System.
  • Sapporo Teine Ski Resort reserves the right to suspend or cancel lift tickets and commercial lift tickets at its sole discretion, even if the conduct is not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, if Sapporo Teine Ski Resort determines that the conduct has a negative impact on Sapporo Teine Ski Resort, guests, staff, or official partners, is disruptive to discipline, or is contrary to the best interests of Sapporo Teine Ski Resort. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct that may compromise the safety or smooth operation of the ski resort.
  • Companies or individuals whose commercial registration has been cancelled will not be able to register for the Sapporo Teine Commercial Lift Ticket System for the following season.
  • Sapporo Teine Ski Resort reserves the right to amend or change the contents of the Commercial Lift Pass Scheme without prior notice.
